By creating an account or using the Actual Tailoring platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users - customers, retailers, and tailors. Some sections apply specifically to one user type and are labeled accordingly.
Actual Tailoring is a software platform that connects customers, clothing retailers, and tailors. We provide tools for managing fit profiles, orders, and garment specifications. We are not a tailor, retailer, or clothing manufacturer - we are software.
Actual garments are produced by tailors and sold by retailers who are independent of Actual Tailoring. We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or accuracy of garments made outside the platform.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the platform you represent that you meet this requirement.
Retailer accounts require approval. We reserve the right to approve or deny retailer applications at our discretion. Approved retailers agree to:
Retailers are responsible for the accuracy of orders they place and for the tailor relationships they manage through the platform.
Tailors are independent contractors or businesses. Joining the platform does not create an employment or agency relationship with Actual Tailoring. Tailors agree to fulfill orders accurately and professionally, and to communicate promptly about delays or issues.
Customers own their fit profile data. By storing measurements on the platform, you grant Actual Tailoring a limited license to use that data to provide the service - specifically, to share it with retailers and tailors you authorize.
You can request deletion of your fit data at any time by contacting us at hello@actualtailoring.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Retailer subscriptions are billed monthly. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
Customer accounts are free. We reserve the right to introduce paid features for customers in the future with advance notice.
You may not use the platform to:
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
To the extent permitted by law, Actual Tailoring is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including issues with garment quality, missed deadlines, or data loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
